What kinds of materials are available?
The marketing materials currently available on DOX are primarily conversation starters – why potential and current clients should consider working with you, the value of advice and how a financial plan can help build a client’s future.
Do I need to have my materials approved?
No! You do not need to send your individual materials in for approval or review. The content in these marketing materials are pre-approved.
Previewing marketing materials
On DOX you’ll be able to preview any material before you order or customize it. As you’re searching through marketing materials, you’ll see this Preview file button to the right of the material. Once you click, you’ll be able to see the material in full view. Here you can see the content in the material along with where your information will appear.
Something to note here – previewing a material will not pull up your information. The preview is a sample of the material you’ll get. You will only see your information in the materials once you start customizing them, and not all materials on DOX are customizable.
How to order a non-personalized material
There are a variety of materials available on DOX. Non-personalized materials are primarily our social media images or cover photos. Non-personalized means that your contact information will not pull into this piece – it’s just a branded material you can use on your website or social media. For self-branded advisors, you will see your firm logo pull into these pieces.
When you’re looking at a non-personalized piece, you will see the Preview file button so you can see material full size before adding it to your cart. In some cases, we have multiple images available, which you can see when you preview. The description will outline if there are additional options available.
To get this item, simply add a 1 here in the Add to cart box, and then at the top of this page click Add to shopping cart. Once you’re ready to checkout, this material will be emailed to you and you can start using it on social media.
How to order a personalized material
There are a variety of materials available on DOX. Personalized materials are items where your contact information will pull into the material automatically. Many of our ads, brochures and postcards can be personalized.
When you’re looking at a piece that can be personalized, you will see a Preview button so you can see material full size before adding it to your cart. You’ll also see a Customize button.
To get this item, simply click the Customize button and follow the steps outlined. Personalized pieces will go straight to the last step because it’s automatically pulling your contact information in. You can click the Proof button to view your material, you can also zoom in, and if you’re happy with it, you can simply click Proof approved and add it to your cart.
Before it’s added to your cart, you’ll be able to add it to your items. You can change the name and description fields here if you want to keep track of how and where you’re using these pieces, for example November 2021 quarter page ad, brochure, postcard. Then you can add the piece to your shopping cart and once you’re ready to checkout, this material will be emailed to you and you can start using it wherever you like.
How to order a customized material
There are a variety of materials available on DOX. Customized materials are items where your contact information will pull into the material, and there are certain fields you can fill out to add your own content to the piece. Some of our materials like our ballot for contests and seminar flyers can be customized.
When you’re looking at a piece that can be customized, you will see the Preview button so you can see material in full size before adding it to your cart. You’ll also see a Customize button.
To get this item, simply click the Customize button and follow the steps outlined. You’ll want to make sure you fill out all of the required fields, and there are some additional fields you can fill out as well if you so choose. Click on your Proof to review the material and if you’re happy with it, simply click add it to your cart by clicking Proof is approved. If you want to make any adjustments, click Back and make those necessary edits.
Before it’s added to your cart, you’ll be able to add it to your items. You can change the name and description fields here if you want to keep track of how and where you’re using these pieces, for example November 2021 virtual event. Then you can add the piece to your shopping cart and once you’re ready to checkout, this material will be emailed to you and you can start using it wherever you like.
Checking out
As you finish ordering materials, you’ll have the option to go straight to your checkout or keep shopping. You can click View my cart button at anytime at the top right of your screen at any time to start the checkout process.
Here you can review your order. The quantity of each piece should always be 1 since the item will be sent to you via email. If you want to print the item, you can send the final file to your printer. The price is $0 because currently all the items in DOX are free.
As you continue on, you’ll see your email here as all the items will automatically be sent to your email address, and you’ll get the chance to review your order one last time.
Click Previous step or Edit order to make any adjustments. Otherwise, click Complete order. You’ll see a message appear on the top of this screen and then you’ll wait for the email to come through, which should only take a couple minutes. If you don’t see the email, make sure to check your junk or spam folders.
Once you get the email, click the links to your materials to download the full versions. Then you can start sharing the materials anywhere you’d like!
